Spend Halloween weekend at the house that became a Texas horror legend.

From October 30 through November 1, Hooper’s is bringing the legendary Texas Chain Saw Massacre house to life with a full weekend of Halloween fun, spooky activities, classic cars, live music, carnival games, costume contests, actors from the film, and more. Whether you’re a lifelong Texas Chain Saw Massacre fan, a horror lover, or just looking for a fun Halloween weekend in the Texas Hill Country, there’s something for everyone.


Admission to the weekend is FREE. Carnival activities are also free and hosted by individual volunteers.


FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30


Spooky Weekend Kickoff

The Halloween weekend festivities begin Friday with a full evening of carnival fun, costumes, music, and spooky surprises.

10 AM–10 PM | Spooky Tiny Flash Tattoos

Allison Berner from Dark Lotus Tattoos will be onsite with spooky tiny flash tattoos.

All Day | 50/50 Raffle

Stop by the bar to enter the 50/50 raffle. The winner will be announced at 9 PM, with proceeds benefiting charity.

All Day | Guess the Candy Jar

Take your best guess at how much candy is in the jar. The winner will be announced at 9 PM.

8 PM | Costume Contest

Come dressed to impress or terrify. Categories include Most Original, Spookiest, and Pet Costume.

7–10 PM | Billy Scott Karaoke

Grab a drink, pick your song, and get ready to sing the night away.


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31


Halloween at the House

Saturday is the big one. Come spend Halloween at the iconic house with a full day of activities for horror fans, families, car lovers, and everyone in between.

Times TBA | Meet the Cast & Crew

Meet some of the people who helped bring The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to life. On Saturday, original cast members and members of the film’s crew will have booths set up throughout the event for autographs, photos, and meet & greets.

Come say hello, hear stories from the making of the film, and meet the people behind one of the most iconic horror movies of all time.

Times and participating cast & crew members will be announced as details are finalized.

9 AM–12 PM | Classic Car Show

Start Halloween morning with a lineup of classic cars on the property.

10 AM–10 PM | Spooky Tiny Flash Tattoos

Allison Berner from Dark Lotus Tattoos returns with spooky tiny flash tattoos throughout the day.

12 PM–6 PM | Halloween Carnival

Bring the kids out for an evening of classic carnival fun! All carnival games and activities are free to enjoy, including:

Win a Goldfish, Skull Toss, Bobbin’ for Apples, Ring Toss, Photo Op Booth, Dunk It Basketball, Penny on a Plate, Axe Pin Throwing (plastic and safe for kids), Cake Walk, Knock the Cans

While you’re enjoying the carnival, be sure to browse the vendor booths throughout the event. You’ll find a variety of vendors offering unique goods, treats, and other items available for purchase.

4 PM | Cake Walk

A Halloween favorite for the whole family.

5 PM | Scavenger Hunt Begins

Keep your eyes open around the property and see if you can find them all.

6 PM | Costume Contest

Categories include Most Original, Spookiest, and Pet Costume.

6–8 PM | JC Band

Enjoy live music as Halloween night gets underway.

8 PM | 50/50 Raffle Winner

The Saturday 50/50 raffle winner will be announced at 8 PM, with proceeds benefiting charity.

8:30–10 PM | Movie in the Courtyard

Bring a chair or a blanket and settle on the Lawn for the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre movie under the night sky.

9 PM | Guess the Candy Jar Winner

Find out who came closest to guessing the candy count.

Brunch & Meet the Actors

Keep the Halloween weekend going Sunday with brunch featuring the actors, followed by a Meet & Greet.
